Toronto elects first white male mayor in four years

TORONTO – After an historical election, Toronto has chosen its first wealthy, white male mayor in nearly half a decade.

“I thought I would never see this day,” said a teary eyed business executive at ’s Election Party. “I’m so happy to see that our city has moved onto its next phase in its history. John is a role model for all white males everywhere.”

Tory promised that he would represent everyone including people who were not rich, white men.

The campaign was not without controversy. Tory was accused of splitting the white, privileged male vote by a fellow Caucasian contender, . Despite the difficulties and racial barriers, John Tory managed to secure an historic and symbolic mandate as Toronto’s 65th mayor.

At press time, John Tory accidentally gave his usual concession speech instead of a victory speech.
