TORONTO – Canada’s psychologists, psychiatrists and PTSD specialists are all pretty confident they know what they’ll be covering with their patients this week.
“Usually it’s a bit of a mystery,” said Dr. Monica McMichael. “Is it going to be a dream they had last night about their 3rd grade teacher, or something their Mom said in passing 2 months ago?”
“But this week it will definitely be about… well, you saw.”
Having suffered one of the most heartbreaking losses in the history of sports during last night’s World Series Game 7, Blue Jays fans need a place to process their trauma, and the nation’s mental health specialists are ready to pick up the slack.
