QUEBEC – Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet has been accused of repeatedly visiting the foreign country of Canada during numerous lockdowns issued by Quebec.
Blanchet allegedly visited Ottawa, the Eastern Townships and the Island of Montreal between March and January between 2020-2021.
“I’m very disappointed he travelled through Westmount without telling anyone,” said BQ party president Yves Perron. “We need to take COVID seriously and visiting the nation of our oppressors is especially shameful.”
Other photos have emerged of the leader of the sovereigntist party arguing and criticizing elected officials in Ottawa for behaving in a similar manner.
At press time, Blanchet said he was sorry, but claims he hadn’t contracted any English during his visits.
