Atellia, Goddess of Light writes herself into fan fiction about average high school

CELESTIAL KINGDOM – In a move that had other omnipotent deities rolling their eyes, Atellia Goddess of Light has written herself into a fan fiction about a mid-sized suburban high

In her story, Teardrops Over the Football Field, Atellia inserts herself as teenage protagonist Jane Smith.

“Jane is a really remarkable girl” says Atellia, blinding light radiating from her immortal visage. “She’s 5’5”, has brown , and maintains an 82 average. She also works part-time at a blanket store, where she catches the eye of Trent- a solid seven with a heart of gold and a very stable upbringing.”

Those who follow Teardrops Over the Football Field know is a big part of the appeal. But Atellia isn’t sharing many spoilers.

“However it ends, I promise it won’t result in Trent being completely obliterated by the glory of a thousand suns. Or with Jane being ditched for a certain, unnamed seven-boobed giant with volcanoes for feet, because who would do that?

Some of Atellia’s friends remain skeptical about her storytelling abilities.

“This character is such a Hera Sue,” said Vatron, King of Fire, and author of The Awesome Ordinary Adventures of Vincent the Handsome Cop. “God, how desperate can you get?”

Public reviews are mixed, with some deities saying the story is “sooooo fun,” and others complaining that the plot lacks realism.
