Adam Smith’s invisible hand files for disability benefits

 – After 250 years of its suffering going unseen, ’s invisible hand has decided to seek help and file for disability benefits.

“I tried to solve my own problems, I really did,” the invisible hand explained. “But sometimes things don’t sort themselves out, even after centuries.”

“Do you know how hard it is being the invisible hand? You should hear the things leftists say when they don’t think I’m there.”

In the hope of getting its invisibility cured, the hand therefore decided to file for disability benefits.

“I’m hoping that the public healthcare system will make me visible,” the excited invisible hand explained, while possibly gesticulating wildly. “I’m hoping to become a productive member of the society for the first time in my life.”

At press time, the Laffer Curve was looking into straightening out its back.
