Man adds stick figure family to back windshield compensating for loneliness, sterility

THUNDER BAY – Arthur Brown, 38, has decorated the rear windshield of his 2001 Matrix with a fictitious family in order to blend into a new neighbourhood, masking the loneliness and sterility that has robbed him of the joys of fatherhood.

“I walk around my neighbourhood, gazing at all this stick figure joy, and two dimensional happiness,” Brown stated. “I want to blend in. I don’t want to be the guy with just himself on the back windshield of his car. That’s weird right?”

The fictitious family includes a slender wife with wiry hair, a son who enjoys soccer, a daughter with pigtails, and a pet fish.

“My wife Ariel is allergic to dogs, so we decided a fish would work to teach our kids the responsibility of pet ownership,” Brown added.

At press time, Brown had opened up and Educational Savings plan for both of his children on the off chance they get into McGill.
