PQ accuses people who don’t vote for them of trying to steal election

MONTREAL – The Parti Quebecois has accused many voters who do not intend to vote for their party of attempting to steal the provincial election.

“We have reported the influxes of these non-PQ voters to the Chief Electoral Officer” said the PQ’s Minister of Justice Bertrand St-Arnaud. “It’s highly unusual that voters are registered under surnames such as ‘Smith’, ‘Goldberg’, ‘Mohammed’, ‘Singh’, ‘Couillard’ and ‘Trudeau’. We don’t want this election stolen by a majority of Quebecers.”

St-Arnaud went on to explain that his province does not deserve a repeat of the 1995 referendum, nor the 2003, 2007 and 2008 provincial elections when millions of non-PQ voters stole those elections.

“We just hope that our fundamental idea of democracy – one pequiste, one vote – will persevere in this election” St-Arnaud added.
