Senator paid $298k to do no work paid friend $65k to do no work

OTTAWA – Embattled Senator is in further legal trouble after reports claim he used a portion of his $298,310 expenses to do the same work as a senator.

“The Senator paid a consultant to do exactly what the Senator was doing” read the report written by Cpl. Greg Horton of the RCMP. “The friend was arbitrarily selected on personal grounds, had little to no expertise, little oversight in his activities and was given an excessive salary for his non-existent services. Only Senators are permitted to have these privileges; not consultants.”

The RCMP are also investigating why Senator hired a close friend to borrow her watch and tell her what time it was.
