Toronto, ON – Alliterative city councillor Brad Bradford ‘the rad landlord’ has relaunched his campy campaign for major mayor of Toronto with the desperate new slogan, “Landlords need more.”
“In this economy, it is the handy landlords who are hurt most,” stated Brad Bradford, minutes after an unrelated fun fundraising event for his podcast and definitely not for his election campaign. “Our city has many landlords, with many money, and those funky folks need someone to represent their very well heard and broad broadcasted voices.”
Brad Bradford has re-reiterated that this opinion is completely open to change as need be, citing his back and forth views of definitely defunding the police, regularly renaming Dundas square, and positively providing money to social services.
“I very strongly believe that landlords like me need more,” stated Bradford with his usual enthusiasm. “Unless that is an unpopular opinion, then I believe the opposite of that. Just like the big budget for police in this city. They need an increase, unless they get unpopular again. In that circumstance, I am very much against raising their base budget.”
Since launching his campaign, some Toronto-based landlords have played down their support of Bradford, as they believe he is “way too obvious” and “should be evil in a way less demonstrable way.”
When asked about all the empty properties that landlords could fill if they were willing to accept normal rates for rent, bossy Bradford insisted the true housing crisis is that people who have homes only have 2-3 to spare.
