Toronto Police celebrate #BellLetsTalk by tasering, beating suspect with mental illness

Services have announced their participation in Bell Let’s Talk campaign by kicking, punching, and tasering a suspect with schizophrenia.

“It’s time that we all open up about it,” said Constable David Mersh, while kicking the handcuffed suspect. “I didn’t know there were others like me until I heard abo- you shut the fuck up! You’re under arrest! Stop resisting!”

Toronto say they have been shooting people of colour to raise awareness of the discrimination minorities face. But when the #BellLetsTalk initiative started in 2010, they decided to broaden the definition of inclusivity by targeting the mentally ill as well.

“It’s not like we can just stomp out these problems,” added Constable Sandra Murino-DeLarose while stomping on the suspect. “That’s why every time we arrest a person with a , we will donate 5 cents to a mental health charity.”

At press time, nobody had tweeted about #BellLetsTalk, as the Toronto Police Services had confiscated everybody’s smartphone.
