YELLOWKNIFE — The government of have already laid the initial groundwork for replacing its ice roads with a long stretch of submerged tanker trucks.

“This route needs be available year-round,” explained Alec Regimbald of the Northwest Territories Department of . “This is a much quicker and less expensive form of construction since our roads are already jammed with this building material.”

Thousands of tankers filled to the brim with gasoline, liquified natural gas and human waste will take the plunge to create a road that stretches from Wrigley to Fort Good Hope.

NWT is also politely requesting for the trucking industry to increase its load capacity and to feel free to drive over any cracks on any existing ice road.
