Woman telling everyone that she is ghosting from this party

TORONTO – Having determined that she is no longer ‘feeling this party’, local woman Tammy Smith has decided to ghost, but not before informing close friends, acquaintances, and all other attendees.

“Yeah, sorry, I’m just feeling pretty tired,” said Smith, overheard speaking to friend-of-a-friend Kayla Roberts. “So I’m gonna ghost. Like ‘poof,’ you know? But we should hang out soon.”

Smith continued the conversation for another the five minutes, planning a coffee meet-up with Roberts for next week, before moving on to another person and telling them she was about to pull an ‘Irish goodbye’.

“I don’t really get the whole ghosting thing myself,” said party attendee Michael Yung. “I like saying goodbye to everybody and letting them know I had a good time. Like Tammy’s doing right now, before she ghosts.”

At press time Smith was the last guest remaining at the party and was heard giving a long-winded goodbye to host Shaun Dhalla, who was visibly tired and really just wanted to start cleaning up.
