Men’s Right groups protest removal of penis-shaped map at Downsview bus station

TORONTO – After officials took down a penis-shaped map of the bus terminal at Downsview station, members of the National Coalition of Men announced a sit-in to protest the continuing war on phallic symbols.

“Penises and the men to whom they are attached are no longer welcome in public,” declared the Coalition’s president, Rob Blatter. “We are staging this sit-in to prove to all of society that equality is impossible if penises can’t figuratively and literally be plastered everywhere.”

“If bus stations can’t have penis-shaped maps, where does it end?” asked Blatter. “Next thing you know, scrotum-shaped airport maps will be outlawed. Then, before anyone even realizes, the patriarchy’s hegemonic power will have eroded.”

“We can’t stand for that.”

According to sources, the National Coalition of Men’s membership had plenty of free time to sit-in at Downsview station.
