Trudeau removes pants after nation’s women demand greater transparency

OTTAWA – Liberal Leader has made a radical move in removing his pants after hearing the demands of many Canadian women for greater transparency in Canadian politics.

The sudden move came hours after announcing he was removing all liberal senators from his caucus and calling on the prime minister to appoint senators in a transparent, non-partisan way.

“I have nothing to hide” the 42 year-old leader said as his black trousers dropped to the floor revealing his leopard patterned polyester Jockey boxers. “After listening to many Canadians, especially women between the ages of 40 and 75, MPs and Senators need to be more transparent on who they are.”

Many women responded enthusiastically to Trudeau’s recent moves towards greater clarity on what most parliamentarians are hiding.

“I’m very supportive of Trudeau’s bold moves” said Adrianna Harrison, 34 year-old lawyer from Brockville. “I’m still curious to know what’s underneath…his plans to reform the Senate.”

At press time, the nation’s women reminded Trudeau that they will tip better in party donations if he shows them every inch of his platform.
