BREAKING: This nepo baby sure hates it when you call them a nepo baby

Los Angeles, CA – Recent interviews with famous people who have benefitted from their familiar relations have gone sour as interviewers correctly described them as nepo babies.

“I am not a nepo baby,” said famous nepo baby Zooey Deschanel. “My father was a director of photography and my mom was in some tiny show called ‘Twin Peaks,’ so all I had was parents who knew the industry and a bunch of money. I am the same as anyone else.”

Scientists have begun studying nepo babies to determine if their inability to understand their privilege is a form of brain injury, as Zoe Kravitz, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Ben Platt have all failed to retain the definition of nepo baby when asked about it, believing the status does not only not apply to them, but makes their lives harder than others.

“At one point, my famous father cut me off from the millions of dollars I had been raised on,” explained nepo baby Dakota Johnson. “Of course, I was able to then just turn slightly to the right and ask my famous mother for millions instead. But for those few seconds, I was like any of you people, so I am not sure how I have any sort of advantage.”

Nepo baby O’Shea Jackson Jr., the nepo baby son of actor Ice Cube, displayed a similar case of delusion as the actor believed him winning the role of playing his own father in the 2022 film Straight Outta Compton was earned by merit alone rather than connections, genetics, or simple logic.

“The current conversation about nepo babies is only designed to hurt,” explained nepo baby Jamie Lee Curtis. “The only goal of this conversation is to hurt people, as far as I know, everyone has enough money to be happy and is not interested in breaking down walls between classes of people.”
