Jet Ski ends its relationship with Stockwell Day

– Personal watercraft manufacturer has ended its relationship with after the spokesman denied there was systemic racism in .

“Our relationship with Mr. Day, which we never agreed to the first place, has ended,” said a Jet Ski press release. “Mr. Day’s recent claim that racial discrimination is equivalent to his being bullied as a child does not represent the Jet Ski community.”

Day has long promoted the brand, making the recreational vessel his sole form of transportation starting with his failed 2000 federal campaign. While President of the Treasury Board, Day routinely made ministerial responses in Question Period by revving the 80 hp engine.

“For twenty years, our brand, through no action on our part, has been linked to Stockwell Day,” explained a Jet Ski representative. “He routinely shows up at our showrooms and somehow finds out where we’re shooting advertisements to photobomb them. He is, quite frankly, obsessed with us. But since everyone else is getting rid of him right now, we thought we’d give it a try.”

At press time, Day was leaving on a Jet Ski, not sure when he’ll be back again.
