TORONTO – In a recent public appearance, Kathleen Wynne did that thing where she gestures with both hands again.
“Oh yup, there she goes,” said local woman Jane Green. “That’s her gesture that she does.”
Wynne has made the signature ‘both hands at the same time’ gesture during speeches, parades, funerals, weddings, religious ceremonies, political functions, breakfast, and sometimes while asleep, like when a cat’s leg twitches as it dreams that it’s hunting.
“We don’t need a better future for some Ontarians,” said Wynne, gesturing with one hand, while the audience gasped in anticipation. “We need a better future for. . .”
After a moment’s pause, she raised her other hand and at the same moment declared, ‘All Ontarians!’ to rapturous applause.
This is the first time Kathleen Wynne has broken out ‘Ol’ Two-Handy’ since a couple of sentences earlier in the speech.
