First ever wind-powered vehicle breaks land speed record, kills 53

Black Rock Desert, NEVADA – Cleantech automotive’s innovative wind-powered vehicle has shredded the world land speed record along with approximately 50 spectators.

The new vehicle equipped with ultra light, razor sharp rotating turbines won the competition. Fans cheered for their lives as  the EcoBlade garnered wind speed to reach a maximum velocity of 784 mph.

EcoBoom race organizers were extremely pleased with the turnout although they were sad to see the attendance nosedive halfway through the race.

“This is a huge leap forward for ,” said EcoBoom president Jasmine Davis proclaiming the eco-success of the event. “There are no emissions coming from this vehicle, we eco-broke the sound barrier, and all the waste byproducts are biodegradable.”
