MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – Google Inc. has purchased U.S. Govt, a service which creates and passes laws.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the U.S. Government to Google,” a Google spokesperson said. “They’ve built an interesting way for customers to engage with the political process, and we think they’ll be a great fit for our line-up of social media services.” The struggling U.S. Govt is expected to benefit from the buyout. Google said it will briefly suspend U.S. Govt services while it updates many of its software platforms, and the U.S. populace will initially be able to use U.S. Govt services in beta mode only if it is invited by an existing user.
