Trudeau flies paraglider to rally

KITCHENER —  Liberal Leader wowed his supporters today by arriving at a rally in a motorized paraglider.

Despite a busy schedule, the 43 year-old politician managed to squeeze in time to impress a crowd of 3,000 as he flew from Toronto to Kitchener.

“Look, there he is!” said one ecstatic supporter pointing skyward as Trudeau emerged along the horizon. “Wow, I have never seen a candidate do that before!”

After several flybys of the roaring crowd below who let out ‘oohs’ and ‘aahhs’ every time he flew past, Trudeau landed his aircraft flawlessly at the very center of the podium where he was to speak.

“Hello Kitchener!” said Trudeau to his supporters while balancing a standing baby in one hand and juggling five balls in the other. “Are you ready to vote?”

Trudeau’s performance didn’t disappoint his followers. He talked about the economy and jobs while managing to strike an apple with a flaming arrow off of Principal Advisor Gerald Butt’s head.

“We want a Canada that we can believe again!” Trudeau thundered as he rounded off a backflip.

Trudeau ended the rally by reminding voters that it was up to them to defeat Stephen Harper before disappearing in an elaborate magic trick.

According to sources, NDP Leader made a similar, yet less impressive dirigible and hand puppet show to supporters in Oshawa.
