OTTAWA – Employment Minister Pierre Poilievre is denying that he or anyone in the Conservative Party changed the Government of Canada’s logo and remained adamant that it was always like that.
“There has always been a big blue ‘C’ in the government trademark, so I don’t see what all the fuss is about,” Poilievre stated responding to accusations that he is using government money for partisan purposes. “The only people who are criticizing this great emblem – the Liberals and NDP – clearly hate Canada and everything our great nation stands for.”
Poilievre went on to announce that the Canadian Mint will be releasing a limited edition $38 bill with Stephen Harper pictured on both sides.
