Only high school football player without concussion clearly not trying hard enough

CHATHAM, ON – While his team made the playoffs, a grade 11 linebacker has shown little effort in scoring a concussion this season.

16 year-old Chad Donaldson has repeatedly missed opportunities to smash his skull into opposing players in the past nine games despite having four sacks, three fumble recoveries and a touchdown.

“We’re disappointed that Chad hasn’t been able to score any mild head injuries this season,” said Coach Carter of the St. Michael Spartans about the linebacker’s lack of effort. “He just not getting it. My two cornerbacks, safeties and entire offensive line have at least two concussions this year. Our quarterback gets at least one every game. That leadership that I’d like to see out of Chad, but he doesn’t seem to care.”

At press time, Donaldson could face a rare late season cut from the team if he doesn’t smarten up and knock his lights out.
