HitchBOT wanted for several murders on Trans-Canada highway

WINNIPEG – The is looking for a hitchhiking robot believed to be responsible for several killings along the from Nova Scotia to BC.

– also known as ‘Robo Cutter’ – has been on the loose since starting his journey in Halifax and is the prime suspect in murders of seven people.

“He looks like a normal, charming robot,” said Sgt. Chris Manarski of D Division RCMP in Winnipeg. “People pick him up thinking that it would be an adventure to have robot as a passenger. He’ll start to conversation like ‘headed my way?’ Or ‘I need to recharge my batteries; could you drive me to the next town over?’ But after about an hour of driving, HitchBOT pulls out a 10 inch knife concealed in his garbage can hat and demands to be driven to Victoria.”

The RCMP believe that victims are then driven into secluded areas where they are slashed and thrown into a ditch.

“The pervert even posted his grisly crimes on social media,” Manarski added.

The suspect is described as 4’3’’, has pool noodles for arms, a LED-glowing smile and incapable of feeling human emotions.
